NAB Fashionable Website
National Australia Bank turn to WorkWear Group to design and supply a uniform range for their bank staff. In the past, WorkWear released printed catalogues, however were now looking to move that experience online to save money on printing costs, add the ability to make updates to their range and have a better environmental footprint.
I was brought onto the project to to design and build a solution that would not only get users excited about the new range, but helped guide them through styles, fitting and ordering. The goal is to create a solution that makes the whole process easy, whilst reducing the amount of product returns they have had in the past.

-- The Tools
-- The Audience
The site is specifically aimed at all the customer facing staff at NAB. This audience covers a diverse age range, from jnr graduates to long term senior staff.
-- Key Takeaways
Insight:
Part of the audience isn't comfortable with purchasing clothing online, as they are anxious that once they receive the garments, they won't fit right.
Opportunity:
Add measuring guides / videos and charts to help get the right sizes. Add style tips that outline different fitting for different body shapes.
Insight:
Some of the older staff aren’t happy with the transition from a magazine catalogue to an online version.
Opportunity:
Keep navigation and layout as simple as possible, in order to not alienate the older staff. Make sure designs are highly accessible.
Insight:
Staff that love their fashion are interested in the finer details of the products.
Opportunity:
Show 360 videos and zoomed in photography of garments. Have a section that details the fabric used.
-- Infomation Architecture
Keeping site structure as simple as possible was key delivering both a linear journey for those looking for an easy to follow experience, whilst allowing others to jump around for a quicker experience.
-- Design
Taking a corporate banking styleguide and using it for a fashion site was a challenge. Letting product photography and white space dominate the layout, allowed for a clean and modern design that reflected both high end fashion and modern corporate design trends.
